June 29, 2024bought this for my daughter. He loves making tea for our family dinners. I was using an 8 cup measuring cup in the microwave to heat the water. I had a vision that this method was an accident waiting to happen. I loved all the special safety features and smaller size of this electric kettle. We follow the instructions before first use. Then we boil water to make tea. The water started to boil after three minutes and turned off. I especially like this feature because she is a night nurse and I was afraid she would start drinking water when she got home and thensit and sleep. Worksbeautifully, easier to handle because it's not bulky like larger teapots and lives up to all the company's claims about this little gem. I highly recommend this product.
