I used it several times and it does its job.

It seemed smaller than the previous one, but it was still big enough to dehydrate my smoked jalapeos and it was made much faster. I couldn't believe it. So I'm happy. But I will keep it in the original box just to keep it safe.

Reviewed at US47.99 I was looking at more expensive models but opted for this one as my volume isn't high enough to justify the ones over a hundred dollars. I thought it would just heat and radiate from below without a fan. However, it has a fan, so it doesn't require rotating trays like the one I had several years ago. I've only used mine to dehydrate Carolina Reaper peppers and grind them into a powder. I usually do two coats on the front porch for the default 10 hours.158 degrees and typically performs a second 10-hour session to complete it. It may take less than 20 hours, but I just press start a second time and let it go and they always finish at the end of the 20 hours. I could try something else, but we have a convection oven that has a dehydration function. I bought this solely so I could dehydrate the hot peppers as they destroy the air inside for the first 4 hours or so.For what I do, as described above, I recommend this dehydrator.

I am so happy I bought this dehydrator! I had one for years. But this one is smaller and works much faster.

I have dried many peppers in this unit.I make hot peppers and make pepper flakes with them.This machine works!The two different heights you can set the tray to are useful and the overall size is very compact!

What's not to say positive about this dehydrator. I love it!!! I love how the shelves, I guess you'd call it "mesh" type design, mean that I can literally dry anything without it falling through the shelves… I mean.Even the broccoli crumbs do not fall off, but it does not affect the air flow for drying. The size is wonderful!!! And you can turn the racks over and read the instructions to stack them higher on each other. And boy does it have power! There is a strong smell that smells like plastic on the first use, but it disappears after the first or second use. Please note that you are supposed to run it before first use without anything inside. And I think after using it the first few times it disappears and DOES NOT MAKE THE FOOD TASTE LIKE IT!! The manufacturer even explains it in the instructions. It arrived very well packaged to prevent the product from being damaged inside the box and EXCELLENT!!! PRICE!!! I dried my food well and in a timely manner. I was nervous about purchasing after reading other reviews…I'M GLAD I TOOK A CHANCE ON THIS ONE!! I highly recommend this product. It's worth it!! I hope this helps someone looking for a worthwhile product.

Very nice and compact. It's perfect for my use. I have made several types of jerky, including for my dogs. The adjustable temperature and time, in addition to being compact, make it convenient for small uses.

I find it very good to support the drying of cookies decorated with royal icing, it has 2 heights, you can set the time from 30 min to 10 hours and the temperature.

Item was too small for practical use, returned for a full refund.
