July 20, 2024I bought this while it was on winter sales for my birthday. I love it although I have only used it a few times so far. When they say to use 5 cups of materials total, they mean it. But for 3 people it's more than enough ice cream, I had to put some in the freezer for another time, so it would easily be enough for 4 5 people to get enough ice cream after dinner. I use our family favorite banana/butter ice cream recipe, so I don't know how good the recipes that come with it are.
July 18, 2024My girl and I tried this the first time we made vanilla ice cream and it came out amazing, although we may have added too much because it overflowed from the lid and we made Mountain Dew ice cream.That spilled over the top. But for the third batch we made Mini Mint Patti Ice Cream and cut the cream and milk into a quarter cup each to make a half cup total and we did it just fine, with no overflow.

You're probably NOT going to save money on homemade ice cream if using fresh, natural, quality ingredients is important to you! You will have fun and have the satisfaction of knowing what is in your dessert! This machine churns and freezes. The quality of the finished product depends on you! We enjoyed ours!
